The cells of our organs change size as a result of physiological changes of situations like aging and diseases which come with it. Diseases put an extra workload on our body’s tissues and organs that cause the cell to get larger.  Many cells grow larger as they undergo repair after inflammation and infection. Cancerous cells get larger because they are working hard dividing and increasing uncontrollably.
