When a cell is infected with a virus several effects may be seen. Many viruses cause no harm or disease whatsoever. However, some viruses may attack certain cells and multiply within them. Scientist are currently studying a new virus potentially named ribovirus. Once it is inside the host cell, ribovirus has the ability to shut down the ribosomes found inside the cell. How will a human cell be affected once it is infected with ribovirus?.
