Read the following statements and determine if they provide information that addresses one of the prerequisites of Hardy Weinberg. In other words, determine if these statements effect a condition of Hardy Weinberg (A) or not (B) 1. The scientists are studying this angiosperm specifically for the color of the petals. They have found that the flowers come in 2 different colors where red is genetically dominant over white (complete dominance) thereby creating only two colors in nature.
2. the landmass (island) where the plants are found is very large and can support a limitless number of these plants.
3. As an invasive species it has no natural predators in this environment.
4. Each tourist season a few more of these plants are brought onto the island.
5. These flowers rely on wind and some insects to spread their pollen. Insects tend to move from one flower to the next without regard and the wind direction changes enough where it comes from all directions evenly spreading the pollen equally and indiscriminately throughout the population.
