When talking about experiments, what does the term: "Occam's Razor" mean? When you get right down to it, there is no way to determine which of the the two equally supported hypotheses are true.

Occam was a scientist / barber who really needed a shave.

When comparing competing hypotheses with an equal balance of evidence, the rule of thumb is to assume the more complicated explanation is the true answer.
