Can loss of deserts cause global warming?!

no, loss of deserts does not cause global warming. there was a study done on NBC news that said something to the effect that deserts actually absorb Carbon dioxide(which is the main gas causing global warming and climate change)

what does cause global warming is the loss of trees. trees are like a natural filter. they keep carbon out of the atmosphere and store carbon in their bodies. when they get cut down or burned, they release that carbon as carbon dioxide into the air. basically, if trees aren't there, there will be harmful gases in the air, and there won't be a natural and safe method to keep those gases under control
