The gene that produces the enzyme placental alkaline phosphatase in humans starts at position 232 million on chromosome 2 (which is 242 million bp long). a. Draw a single copy of chromosome 2 in un-replicated form (one chromatid). Note that chromosome 2 is submetacentric (centromere is near the middle, but closer to the beginning). Indicate the location of the placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP) gene.
b. PL4P has two common alleles, let's call them. P. and Pz. Draw your homologous chromosome 2 pair assuming you have one copy of both alleles.
