When looking at your pictures in order, describe the changes to the area. What changes happened first? Why do you think that is? There are changes in the climate which result in the environment changing. I think that in the picture before the eruption you can tell when this is because it shows the most "natural" of them all, with snow in the beginning and then it melts into picture number 2 which is the one right after the eruption. it shows climate changing resulting in the mountain snow to melt faster and develop into something similar but different.
