PLS HELP Assignment
Conserving and Recycling Presentation
There are countless environmental, conservation, recycling, and energy resource organizations at city and state
levels (in addition to national and global organizations and agencies). In this assignment, you will research a city
or state organization in your hometown or state. For example, if you live in Colorado, you might research the
Colorado Association for Recycling.
From your study of the organization, you will research and design methods for monitoring and minimizing human
impact on the environment. Your designs for monitoring and minimizing will come from the organization's purpose
or goals. For example, if the purpose of the organization is recycling, you could develop a method for how to
monitor the amount of recycled materials in the home and develop a method for minimizing the amount of
recyclables that end up in the trash at home.
You will create a presentation about the organization and your own design. You will describe what the
organization is about and how people can get involved. You will describe the design and details of your plans for
monitoring and minimizing human impact. Your presentation will be eight to ten slides in length and should
include the following information:
.
• Title
Introduction - Overview of the organization
Organization's purpose and goals
Types of events
Type of education (environmental, conservation, or recycling) it provides
Conservation policies - advantages and disadvantages (i. e., the cost/benefit tradeoff) of policies the
organization is involved in
• Design method for monitoring human impact
Design method for minimizing human impact
Sources - websites you used and contact information for the organization
.
Remember to make a list (bulleted, numbered, etc.) on each slide. The slides should feature highlights of the
slide's title. The bullet points should be short phrases (at most, one sentence) that highlight some key points

What best explains whether bromine (br) or neon (ne) is more likely to form a covalent bond? bromine forms covalent bonds because it has seven valence electrons, but neon has eight valence electrons and already fulfills the octet rule. bromine forms covalent bonds because it has many electron shells, but neon has only two electron shells and is tightly bound to its electrons. neon forms covalent bonds because it can share its valence electrons, but bromine has seven valence electrons and can gain only one more electron. neon forms covalent bonds because it has only two electron shells, but bromine has many electron shells and will lose electrons in order to fulfill the octet rule.

Cladistics is a way of classifying organisms by examining the characteristics of their ancestors and descendants and depicting the relationships in a cladogram. which of the following best describes a challenge in classifying organisms this way? a. there are millions of species on earth, and a cladogram is not a practical means for classifying all of them. b. it is impossible to tell which organisms are most closely related to each other using a cladogram. c. cladograms are detail-oriented and do not provide a useful understanding of evolutionary relationships. d. there is a limited number of ways to organize the information, so most cladograms end up looking very similar.
