Which sentences correctly describes the effect of marine debris?
Marine debris is very harmful to marine life. Its effect, however, is only limited to marine creatures, as it does not affect birds and other species
that depend on the sea. One of the major contributors to marine debris is plastic. Garbage and litter from the beach does not contribute to
marine debris. Research shows that marine debris is likely to decrease over time as plastics degrade into smaller particles. New methods of
manufacturing have been adopted to reduce material consumption and thus prevent a larger contribution to marine debris.
