Over the last several decades, scientists have addressed the problem of nonrenewable natural resources such as fossil fuels. Humans are using fossil fuels at a rapid rate and scientists believe that one day we will run out of them. One alternative to fossil fuel energy is nuclear energy, specifically nuclear fission reactors. Although a reasonable solution to the fossil fuel problem, there are concerns.
