What things in nature are similar to the egg drop experiment?

The egg drop experiment assists the students to discover the fundamental concepts like forces, gravity, and acceleration. In an egg drop experiment, the particular rules and illustrations may vary. The usual concept is to have students develop a container, which will permit an egg to safely fall from different heights without breaking.  

Something identical to egg drop in nature would be birds. The birds fly and exhibit wings to slow down the drop at the time of their landing. The humans do skydiving, which is similar to the egg drop, that is, the parachute is obstructing the air, and it is thus slowing down the drop.
