Explain the difference between repetition and replication

Repetition refers to performing multiple trials throughout an experiment. Repetition reduces mistakes and increases one’s confidence in the results. Replication refers to the ability of a process to be repeated by another individual. When one scientist replicates the experiment of another, the experiment should produce the same results.
