Compare and contrast prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells and viruses

Prokaryotic cells have no nucleus or organelles. Prokaryotic cells usually forms a single chromosome, which floats within the cytoplasm. Prokaryotic organisms have one one cell and include all bacteria.

Eukaryotic cells contain intracellular organelles, including a nucleus. The DNA within eukaryotes is organized into chromosomes. Includes plant, fungi and animal cells.

Viruses structure consists of only a protein capsule, DNA or RNA (and sometimes enzymes). Scientists don't yet agree if viruses are alive although they can reproduce. They don't have their own internal metabolic functions. They survive and replicate by invading a living cell and utilizes the cells mechanism to reproduce itself.
