respiration. Photosynthesis' products are glucose and oxygen. While cellular respiration's products are carbon dioxide and water. Photosynthesis uses the carbon dioxide and water created by cellular respiration to create glucose and oxygen. And cellular respiration uses the glucose and oxygen from photosynthesis to form carbon dioxide and water. Cellular respiration is a process which glucose and oxygen is used to help create carbon dioxide, water and ATP. There are 3 steps involved in
cellular respiration: 1.Glycolysis- This step splits the glucose molecule in half into 2 pyruvic acid which are used in the next step. Glycolysis produces ATP and NADH (electron carrier). 2.The Citric Acid Cycle- This step takes the two pyruvic acids, modifies them and then ginds them down producing ATP, NADH, CO2, and FADH2 (electron carrier). 3.The Electron Transport Chain- This step takes all the NADH and FADH2 from the other steps and uses them to create the most ATP out of all the steps.
