Genetic modification of fruits and vegetables are used to increase the quality and quantity. The genetic modification increases the ability to tolerates the wide range of temperature and climatic conditions. The improvement of the important vitamins, minerals and other biological compound can be done by modifying the genome of the fruits and vegetables.

some other methods are good for archaeological ages. dendrochronology involves recognizing the sequence of tree rings. the orientation of magnetized particles in baked clay can be used to date a fire.
