Homologous structures are features found in different organisms that share structural similarities but have different functions. For example, all four-limbed vertebrates share homologous bones in their forelimbs. Think about human hands, bat wings, and dog feet.
On the other hand, Analogous structures are structures that do not have the same structure but have similar functions. The wings of parrots and the wings of fruit fly both perform the same function of flight but they have different structures.
