If I am conducting an experiment to check if cells are living and their functionality after putting an organ into solutions with different salt concentration, then what should be the research question and should the data collected be quantitative or qualitative? (The main motive is to check the functionality of cells after they are dispersed in hypotonic, hypertonic and isotonic solution) (And the question is - Why are solutions used to store organs for donation isotonic?)
