In stem cell transplants, stem cells removed damaged cells damaged by chemotherapy or disease or serve as a way for the donor's immune system to fight some types of cancer and blood-related diseases, such as leukemia, lymphoma, neuroblastoma and multiple myeloma. These transplants use adult stem cells or umbilical cord blood.

Stem cells are also an ongoing source of the different cells that make up tissues and organs of animals and nature life aka plants. Stem cells are a great interest being because they have potential development in healing or replacing damage cells such as Parkinson disease, heart disease, and diabetes. There are only two types of stem cells thought, adult stem cells and embryonic stem cells. But Stem cells are pretty ubiquitous in the body appearing in many different places including the brain, blood, bone marrow, muscle, skin, heart, and liver tissues.
