Human adaptations do not exist independently of one another. In real life, of course, each population, and each individual within that population, has numerous coexisting adaptations. Ignore what you know of your family history and consider only your own physical traits for the following adaptations: skin color, lactose tolerance, and body shape. Place marks on the map on p. 251 of your lab manual to show in which parts of the world each of these traits may have originated in your ancestors. (Be sure to label the marks to indicate which trait is being mapped.) Do all three of your traits suggest similar ancestry?
