In this machine when the ball rolls down it has kinetic that then its gravitational energy is released. This gravitational energy built up into kinetic energy, which was transferred to the wooden block. Then the ball hits the first wooden block, its kinetic energy is transferred into more kinetic energy that makes the chain reaction. When the block and dominoes make contact with the next block or domino, then its kinetic energy is transferred to other block or domino. Each domino passes its energy to the next in a chain reaction until the last one just falls. As the last domino falls, it discharges all of its stored potential energy.
