A wildlife biologist is tasked with determining the different species of plants in a 10 Km2 area. He samples the area using quadrat sampling. He counts the number of plants in five 1 m2 quadrats. Is he obtaining a reasonable estimate of the species in the area? WHY OR WHY NOT?
