For example there's this concept called symbiosis, which explains the relationship between two organisms or more where both benefit most of the time from the association. For example, some plants and fungi have symbiotic relationship where plants provide food for fungi (such as carbohydrates) and in return, fungi colonize the roots of plants and provide extra absorption of nutrient and water.
