Why is it important for scientists to communicate their findings and data in scientific journals ?

Data is never 100% right, so its important that they write everything down so that future scientists that choose to repeat the experiment can help identify flaws in the experiment and make the results more accurate. It basically helps to proof their work and allow it to be used in the future
