What would happen if the concentration of H+ ions were the same on both
sides of the membrane when the channel opened?
A. H+ ions would not flow.
B. More H+ ions would be created.
C. H+ ions would flow into the mitochondrion.
D. H+ ions would flow out of the mitochondrion.
