Samantha’s class was learning about the different types of tides in their Earth Science class.
Tides are caused by the gravitational attractions of the moon and the sun on Earth which in turn cause the sea levels on Earth to rise and fall.

Their teacher divided the class into groups and asked them to look at the picture and identify and explain which side of Earth would experience a high tide or a low tide.

Each group stated their claim which their teacher noted on the board.
