The brain is the higher center which processes information received from the body via the spinal cord. After recieving the communication and processing the signals, it sends the response to the body via the spinal cord which is abundant with inter-neurons that link up different neurons and organs.

Somatic Nervous System:

It involves the major type of muscle called the skeletal muscle that controls support and movement of the person. Despite this, some organs share the autonomic and somatic nervous system simultaneously, e.g. the respiratory system where a person can control their breathing at times or the body controls it fully during times of stress or when the person is not thinking of controlling it.
