Achemist is studying dissolved gases in the ocean. she graphs her data as shown below.

image of graph. x-axis is labeled concentration of dissolved gas in milliliters per liter (ml/l) and there are two scales on the x-axis. the scale labeled o2 starts at 44 and increases by 2 until it reaches 52. the scale labeled co2 starts at 1 and increase by 1 until it reaches 6. the y-axis has two labels and two scales. the label on the left y-axis is depth (m). the scale for depth (m) starts at the top of the graph at 0 and increases by 100 until it reaches 4000. the label on the right y-axis is depth (ft). the scale of depth (ft) starts at the top of the graph at 0 and increases by 4000 until it reaches 12,000. two lines appear on the graph. the red line, representing co2, starts at left hand side of the graph around 44 ml/l on the x-axis and 0 meters and 0 feet on the y-axis. the red line starts to shift to the right at about 500 m and 2000 ft. it continues to shift to the right as depth increases until it is constant at about 51 ml/l. the blue line, representing o2, starts at the right hand side of the graph around 6 ml/l on the x-axis and 0 meters and 0 feet on the y-axis. the blue line starts to shift to the left at about 300 m and 1000 ft. the blue line is nearly constant on the y-axis but shifts to the left on the x-axis from 5 ml/l to about 2 ml/l where it intersects with the red line at about 600 m and 2000 ft. the blue line then stays constant at 2 ml/l as depth increases from 600 m and 2000 ft to 3000 meters to 10,000 ft. it then shifts back to the right just past the 2 ml/l mark on the x-axis and stays constant as depth increases to almost 4000 m and 12,000 ft.
