Why does o² diffuse from the alveoli into the capillaries?

Explanation:

The partial force of oxygen is high in the alveoli and low in the blood of the pulmonary capillaries.

For this reason, oxygen will diffuse over the respiratory membrane from the alveoli into the blood.

And carbon dioxide will diffuse over the respiratory membrane from the blood into the alveoli.

a. as the temperature increases, the kinetic energy of the gas molecules increases & the molecules move faster & further away from each other.

b. if you decrease the temperature of a fixed amount of gas at constant pressure, the combined gas law reduces to charles's law. in this case, volume will also decrease.
