Camels are animals which usually habitat in deserts. The resources in a desert habitat are limited. Two of the resources for which the camel might have to compete are:

Food:

Camels commonly feed on grasses and grains. As the growth of grasses and other plants is minimal in a desert habitat, the camels have to fight for food. They even have to compete for dried up leaves.

Water:

In a desert, water availability is very scarce. The competition of animals in deserts is very high for water.

Camels are adapted to store water in its body for several days which helps it survive the harsh water-scarce conditions of a desert.
