Hey puddin could ya me!

data table
on the table below, record your observations before and after the interactions and explain how mass was conserved. describe the changes in properties that prove a chemical reaction occurred. the first row is an example.

observations before interaction observations after interaction how was mass conserved? proof of a chemical reaction
example: sugar + heat the sugar is in tiny white particles in a pile. heat is not seen but is implied by the heat source. the pile of sugar in the pot has a mass of 100 grams. there is a solid, light brown mass at the bottom of the pot. it has a mass of 100 grams. the mass of the sugar is the same in melted form as it is in solid crystal form. there was not a chemical reaction. sugar did not change composition. it only melted. melting point is a physical property, and this is a physical change.
steel wool + oxygen (fire)
egg + heat
water + heat
zinc + hydrogen chloride
sodium hydroxide + copper sulfate

Salmonella typhimurium is a food-borne bacterial pathogen that can cause severe gastrointestinal disease. salmonella is often phagocytosed by macrophages that normally destroy bacterial pathogens, but this bacterium is somehow able to prevent the complete maturation of phagolysosomes. salmonella is able to tolerate the low ph of phagolysosomes, and in fact responds to the drop in ph by secreting toxins that interfere with other cellular responses. which of the following differences would you expect to contribute to the survival of a bacterium within an salmonella-containing phagosome, compared to a healthy phagolysosome? decreased activity of acid hydrolases increased activity of acid hydrolases decreased import of h+ ions increased import of h+ ions my guess is decreased activity of acid hydrolases but i'm not sure.

Zoo geographic regions are characterized by the presence of specific groups of animals these regions are determined by the taxonomic or phylogenetic relationships of animals. the map shows the zoogeographic regions proposed by the naturalist alfred russel wallace in 1876. the similarities of organisms in which two areas numbered above provide the best evidence for common ancestry between the organisms in both locations ?
