Why must a cell that needs to divide follow the sequence of the events of the cell cycle (g1-s-g2-m-c)? if the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would divide uncontrollably. if the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would lack the material and energy to divide. if the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would turn into a different kind of cell. if the sequence were changed or a stage skipped, the cell would quickly die due to the toxins created.
