A meteor is a piece of debris that crashes at into the earth. Meteors can be seen on any given night, as they are simply interplanetary material falling into the earths atmosphere. Meteors reach about 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and travels at about 30,000 mph. :) Hope this helps!
