You will receive a set of ten quantitative values for each of three genotypes: aa, aa, and aa.

here, a is the risk or increaser allele. we use the genotype codes 0, 1, and 2, corresponding to the number of a alleles in an individual's genotype.

that is, we use the following table:

1. for each genotype code's ten quantitative values, compute the mean and standard deviation. when you are finished, you will have three means and three standard deviations.

2. you are given two randomly generated quantitative values. using your answers from question 1, determine the corresponding genotype code for the two quantitative values.

to summarize: in exercise 1, you are to compute three means and three standard deviations. in exercise 2, you are to select a genotype code value that corresponds to the given phenotype value, and to document how you arrived at that selection. in other words, show your work!
