Im not good at science (i can you with math or english im good at those) why do you think geologists are especially interested in contacts (where two different rocks come together) when trying to piece together the history of the canyon’s formation? explain in 2-4 sentences

They are interested because it helps to figure out what parts of the canyon were originally there and what parts of its ancestors have developed. It also interested them because it helps to figure out the original structure of the canyon and what pieces come together with the formation from man kind.
