How are permineralized fossils formed

Permineralization is when minerals from water ground enter the pores of dead plant or animal minerals. Overtime the minerals attach them selves clean onto cellular walls and building crystalline network in empty cavities. This mineralization hardens the bone and turns it into stone making it the fossils original structure but in fossil form.
