Hello, I'm not quite sure but I believe it is A.) When jumping into cold water, one’s skin releases body heat into the water.? I'm think this because of the initial reaction to immersion in cold water, cold shock response, which starts with a gasp reflex in response to sudden and rapid chilling of the skin. You cannot gain coldness, there is only a lack of heat; heat likes everything to have the exact same temperature, your body will lose heat in order to provide heat to the area around you, in this case water. I hope this is right otherwise I wrote all this for nothing.
