What brings greater concentration of dissolved nutrients to the ocean floor?

Upwelling is described as the process when cold water rises up from the deeper layer of a water body to replace the warmer surface water. Hence,  upwelling brings greater concentrations of dissolved nutrients like- nitrates and phosphates, to the ocean surface.

when you breathe in, or inhale, your diaphragm contracts (tightens) and moves downward. this increases the space in your chest cavity, into which your lungs expand. the intercostal muscles between your ribs also enlarge the chest cavity. they contract to pull your rib cage both upward and outward when you inhale.
