Why do you think electron microscopes allow for greater magnification than compound microscopes?

Electron microscopes allow for greater magnification than compound microscopes because electron microscopes use electrons and compound microscopes use visible light to see objects. Compound microscopes use visible light of minimum wavelength of 400 nano meter by which we can not see objects smaller than 200 nano meter m. But in electron microscope electrons has wavelength thousand time shorter than the visible light. therefore, electron microscope can see objects which are in nano meter.
