Describe the difference between reabsorption anf filtration in the kidney

Reabsorption which takes place mainly in the loop of henle and the nephron tubules is where important materials from the glomerular filtrate are reabsorbed or rather taken into the blood stream instead of being excreted examples are glucose, sodium ions and potassium ions, while filtration is where blood is filtered to remove insoluble materials and prevent their excretion
