The marine animals will also migrate to cooler places, which also means throwing off the ecosystem. Pollution can also potentially wipe out many marine animals, or even perhaps an entire species. For example, marine animals mistake plastic for food and end up starving to death because they cannot digest the plastic and they feel full when they aren't. This not only means that the jobs are unfulfilled, but it would also mean less prey for animals further up the food chain. Human interference destroys coral, which is destroying many marine animals' habitats and will cause the reef to die. Humans also add to pollution and contribute to overfishing, throwing off the ecosystem as more dead zones emerge and the amount of marine species living there decreases.
