1. Jason decides to invest in a new two-piece suit which will cost him $200. He estimates he will wear it five time per month for two years. Dry cleaning will cost about $15. Jason estimates he will have the suit cleaned four times per year. What is the total investment for the suit? What is the cost per wear?
2. Sandy paid 30 dollars for a blouse. Cleaning cost after each wear is about $0.50. Sandy thinks she can wear the blouse 50 times before it worn out. What was the cost per wear? How many times should Sandy wear the blouse to reach a cost per wear of $1?
3. Find one item in your wardrobe. Write down the purchase price, the average cost of cleaning the item, the number of times each item needs to be cleaned and number of times the item has been worn. Calculate the cost per wear. Use your best knowledge to record accurate numbers.
