Can someone explain briefly the two-part way for a person to learn to evaluate his or her own responses to music. i am taking instrumental music class and cannot find a good answer.

1. Develop your musical ear.

Learn to listen attentively to music. Begin by becoming an engaged listener. Taking this course is a step in the right direction since you'll be introduced to plenty of music listening exercises. The more you listen to music, analyze it, and learn about it, the deeper your response can and will be.

2. Pay attention to your responses.

When you hear a piece of music, pay attention to how it makes you feel–your emotional response, what it makes you think about–your intellectual response, and whether you're tempted to tap your foot or dance along–your physical response. Once you've begun to notice your responses, you can learn to put those responses into words and communicate them to others.

i think cheerleading is definitely a form of art. or at least it should be! not everyone has what is takes/and or the determination to become a cheerleader. it takes practice and hard work, along with being able to master a move correctly, like dancing. dancing is a form of art, and i think cheerleading is too. not everyone can dance, just like not everyone can be a cheerleader.

so a and d are wrong right off the bat. i'd go for c. hope i !
