The industry can destroy your self-esteem and mental health. The industry restricts your freedom, and most of the time, you never become successful enough.

These idols give up so much of their life for the industry, only to realise that they never made it, and it was all for nothing.

Tzuyu

She was only 13 when she joined JYP and was 16 when she participated in the survival show ‘ sixteen' . After their debut, it was Tzuyu who was popular internationally and in Korea so JYP gave her opportunities to act in CFs. Some of which consisted of questionable scenes and outfits

Yuna

She also belongs to JYP and is a member if the girl group itzy. Since their debut, she is given similar length outfits that are given to the other members who are all adults, by the way.Yuna is 16 currently and debuted at 15. Even in their music videos, they are subtly sexualised ,not to mention the provocative dance moves.

It’s quite obvious, they’re very young and they will be expose to many, many people.
because of that, they will either experience sasengs/stalkers, haters, body shaming, wearing receiving clothes that the stylist choose, harsh criticism, and getting sexualize at such a young age.

Before I say anything, I do NOT agree with the idea that outfits is what makes us a sl.ut or wanting male/female attention.

Example like Nancy from MOMOLAND.
At a young age she had to wear short shorts or dresses, outfits that show her bu.ttcheeks or b.oobs.
She had NO permission to wear such clothes but had to because they are ‘idols’ and must take the attention of the audience.
by all means, they must wear outfits that show skin.

The feeling of dancing and singing on stage, receiving dirty stares must have been scary.

There’s more examples actually but I’ve forgotten most of it since I’ve left the kpop community not too long ago.
