When you're admired and you don't notice, it's just not fair.
The way you're loved but you're just unaware.
You want their smile, the way they talk, and their tamed hair.
Their friends and the clothes they wear.
You dream to be the one that makes people stop and stare.
You dream of the kind that doesn't have to try.
The one who doesn't get left on delivered as they wait for a reply.
Good riddance, you don't belong there
But how could I feel so alone when there are people everywhere?
So the last day is spent here as I vanish into thin air.
And the people walking by, they don't seem to notice...
Like every human being,
So I hold my head up high, guaranteeing the thought to be seen...
Recognizing everyone as they walk by
As you slowly realize you're becoming not friends,
Not enemies, just a pair of strangers with memories
So I hope to be enough,
Enough to make you stay.
To make you stay,
for just another day

The moment you realize you’re not paying attention
is the moment you've escaped reality
it is an achievement we all want and need
because nature is there when no one else will be
So feel the soft grass and hear the trains because someday
the birds will stop chirping and wolves stop howling and we will all wonder
what else we could've done that day

it feels like the world is ending.
in a way stranger than the "normal" that's perceived.
but we get to live here, where there are opportunities.
Ask yourself this, and tell me if you agree.
In a world that is deceived, are people meant to be happy?
I don't like it here, it doesn't suit my placement of certainties.
The certainties I dream of, to accomplish one day
So for now...
I choose to escape reality and hopefully end up somewhere I'm happy to be.

It comes from the walls
The children are afraid
As the small footprints fade,
It disappears at first light
So your memory is erased of the night
It’s such a disguise
You wouldn’t think such a cute face would terrify
You don't know where it's coming from
So you try to hide
You turn back and it whispers
You're in for a ride
