Poison in your veins can't beat that tension in your brain in thisdegrading life
you wish everything just stayed the same
but that's not how it works
everything changes and burns
and we never feel okay
because we make it that way

you see we could just get up
we could brush it off
we could cry it out
we could take a walk
watch the sun rise up
with our favorite song
draw our favorite thing
talk to our favorite being
write out everything were feeling

and we could walk it off
we could get right up
if we decide we've had enough
we could change it all
tell the hard truths and hurt their
feelings so we can patch it up
push through our problems
do that work thats been stacking up
actually work at that issue
thats just too tough
and we can walk it off

all that sadness we've been feeling
we can take a breath of cool collected evening air
and we can breathe it out all that pressure we've
been feeling because we're what matters today
yeah they've had it all the people we've been healing
and they can walk it off all the pain that they've been dealing
and we can just stand tall and let it have its deeper meaning
because we can push it off and feel its darkness receding
we can walk it off and know that life is worth seeing
and it can shove off because you and i are vital beings
and we can feell alive even when its not worth feeling
and we will walk it of because we're tired of retreating
so lets just walk it off we can do it together
let us walk it off because we were born in stormy weather
just take my hand and take a breather and lets join the march
lets join the parade of people who are here for tommorrow
and tired of today.
