To most negative thinking makes you a pessimist but to me negative thinking means I’m just realistic. That’s how I feel, ain’t that a twisted view? - NF

No not really twisted, just like how an optimistic doesn't think the world is perfect. Being negative is kinda sad though because then you ignore the good things around you. I believe being realistic is balancing the two together  being optimistic is the drive to make life better while being negative keeps you in check to not wish for too much.
