Trên một diễn đàn về Quản trị chuỗi cung ứng (SCM), có một bài viết như sau: “Chào các bạn, hiện tôi đang gặp vấn đề trong khâu quản lý chuỗi cung ứng mà chưa biết
phải giải quyết sao cho hiệu quả. Bất kỳ sản phẩm nào để đến tay của người tiêu dùng cũng
đều phải trải qua một hành trình khép kín - còn gọi là chuỗi cung ứng, cần có sự phối hợp
của rất nhiều khâu: từ nhà cung cấp nguyên vật liệu, đến các nhà máy gia công sản phẩm,
rồi đến tay các đơn vị vận chuyển, phương tiện vận chuyển, tiếp đến là các trung tâm phân
phối, các cửa hiệu bán sỉ, bán lẻ…
Nhiều khâu như thế, nên tôi gặp khó khăn trong việc xây dựng chuỗi cung ứng cho doanh
nghiệp, từ việc sản xuất, đến quản lý tồn kho, tìm kiếm địa điểm, phương tiện vận tải, chia
sẻ thông tin trong hệ thống… một khâu trục trặc ảnh hưởng đến cả chuỗi dẫn đến lợi nhuận
không cao. Vì thế, tôi mong được các bạn trên diễn đàn tư vấn giúp tôi cách để quản lý tốt
hơn. Cám ơn các bạn!”
