Debbie is a grade eleven cosmetology co-op student with a pleasant personality, a flair for fashion and the skills to become an excellent hairstylist. Her disposition is excellent and she has a great sense of humour. She selected three salons for her placement interviews and she thought that the interviews all went very well. Debbie was not selected for any of the positions. She confides to her co-op teacher that she feels that she was discriminated against because she is black.
